No more snow!

Hello all Tobi's friends and fans!

Here he is, having a last checkup before starting his journey to Brazil! This was on Wednesday, 11.4.
He's probably somewhere warm already, and that's good, because his last days here were fun, but very cold..

Here's few more photos Tobi wanted you to see...

Sirius Hurja (Wild) is the cat Tobi became good friends with.
They enjoyed watching out the window together, because there was a lot of birds and squirrels.
They also liked to sleep together when the weather was bad.
They were SO cute together! :)

And there were other cute animals for Tobi to play with...
Many seals, and even a real Finnish polar bear! (Tobi was a bit surprised they are so small...)

And other turtles too! Tobi was really happy to have all these distant relatives around! And they were very curious and asked Tobi so many questions about the places he has already visited and is going to visit on his journey!

On his last day here in Finland it was sunny and Tobi wanted to play outside. He made a great snowman all by himself and also wanted to try how this kicksled works!

Tobi and the children had a good time on the ice of the lake testing the sled. Unfortunately we didn't have small enough sled for Tobi to take a ride on his own :)

So after all this snow and cold it's a happy thing that Tobi's next destination is going to be a warm place! Goodbye from Finland, we stay tuned to see how Tobi's story goes on! :) Szia!
Bon Voyage!!

Tobi in Sweden!

On Wednesday 4.4. we drove to Helsinki (almost 4-hour drive from central Finland!) and to this great ship. It was exciting! We had a nice cabin and I also had nice company :)

On this ship there was so much to do and see! And eat!
From our cabin window we could see the promenade deck and shops inside the ship. We bought some tax free candy, toys and postcards from these shops.
There was also a group of acrobats from the Moscow Circus right behind our window!! Wow!

MY favourite activity was eating! :D
Can you believe that in the buffet I was allowed to eat as many plates of shrimp I wanted?! (That was quite many!)

The others enjoyed also many different kinds of food and dessert, but I was happy with the shrimp.

* * * * *

After sleeping one night in the ship we drove to the center of Stockholm to see around and do some shopping: postcards, toys, postcards, candy, postcards, clothes, postcards etc.
We also saw many nice places! This is some kind of monument in the center. People call it "the toothpick" but I heard it's really called "the glas obelisk".

The old town was also nice!
In this picture I'm having a break and eating some great watermelon candy and counting my Swedish money.
Behind me you can see the Royal Palace!

This big lion was also a nice place to rest
and wawe my little flag of Sweden! :)

After walking around the whole day it was great to bet back to the ship.
And eat! :D
I managed to find a real treasure of the pirates!!
(Luckily we didn't see any pirates, just the treasure!)

I enjoyed looking around the ferry (we saw the acrobats again!) and the archipelago views so much! I wish my mother could have been there with me... Maybe next time we can go together!! :)

After sleeping another night in our cabin it was Friday and we were back in Helsinki.

I was so proud I knew the city already! I remembed the places Miia showed me last weekend so I showed my host family some nice places on our way to the American Car Show they wanted to visit.
It was a cool show!! :) These are some of my favourite cars. I also liked the V8 engines a lot!

After seeing the show we started driving back to Petäjävesi. I fell asleep as soon as the car started (it also had V8 engine and nice sound...)

Easter in Finland

Szia!

Just wanted to write a line to let you know I'm fine and happy :)

We had a great trip to Sweden and now we are experiencing an exciting snowstorm here in central Finland! We could not (or didn't want to!) go out today so we just stayed inside and made some Easter decoration and played games.

I also enjoyed looking at all the wonderful Easter cards!
Some of them are Hungarian and made me feel at home! :)

Now it's late and I'm going to sleep next to the furry, warm cat called Sirius. Good night!

At Miia's home again

Back "home" :) On Sunday night I visited Miia's and Ville's wintergarden. There was much cool plants!

Miia showed me this cute lizard. :)

And guess what, I met their tortoise too! It's was really cool to meet her!

That's all for now. Tobi's journey will continue...

In Helsinki

On Friday we went to Helsinki. We had to sit in the car about three hours. On Friday we didn't do anything special. But Saturday and Sunday were exciting days!

Here Tobi is at Sibelius Monument.

Here Tobi is sitting in Miia's car with navigator. :) Tobi was interested of funny Finnish street names, he saw those names at this navigator.

Here Tobi is watching the parliament house of Finland.

In the evening Tobi was reading small Moomin book at the hotel room. Our hotel was Hotel Kämp, it's the best hotel in whole Finland. Tobi really liked that luxury! :)

And here's Tobi and his new friend "bath duck". At hotel Kämp there's that kind of duck at every room. Some are green, some yellow.

Here Tobi is ready to take a bath. :) But he was too tired to take a bath, maybe that was a good thing! ;)

On Sunday Tobi found another turtle! He's sitting on turtle's nose.

Tobi went to zoo Korkeasaari. Here he watched a donkey.

And again another stone turtle, this one was on Korkeasaari.

Before we left from Korkeasaari, Tobi wanted to lay in the sun for a while. After that we drove back home.

In Kauttua, Eura

So, here's finally rest of the pictures of Tobi's last days with Miia. :)

On Wednesday we went to the gas station.

On Thursday we walked with dogs Poju and Deea to this beautiful rapids. Tobi was quite excited! Tobi said that he voice of rapids was cool!

We walked to sports field of Kauttua. Or this field is actually football field.

Miia wanted Tobi to see this funny old car, it's Nissan Pao. It's so cute, Tobi almost bought this car. :D

Tobi is here, he's just to small. :)

Miia's father was washing and waxing cars at Miia's and Ville's yard and of course Tobi wanted to wax too! Miia's father even gave him a little waxing rag. :)

Miia's boyfriend's Ville's hobby/second job is to import cars from Japan and Miia's father washed and waxed those cars with Tobi. :)
